Hi, I'm Aditya Oberai.
I work in developer relations, helping developer tools communicate better, teach better, and build stronger communities.
I lead Developer Relations at Appwrite, where I spend my days turning product launches into stories, documentation into teaching, and users into communities. Along the way I've organized India's first DevRelCon and photographed more conference hallways than I can count.
What I work on
Five themes, from product launches to the programs behind them.
Recent and upcoming talks
Bringing people together
Programs and gatherings I've started or grown, because developer tools are only half the story.
The Writers' Room
A community program for developers who want to become better technical writers, with space to pitch, draft, and publish with editorial feedback.
Photo Walks
Casual photography walks organized around conferences and meetups, where developers explore a city together with cameras in hand.
Doon Tech Community
An independent tech community in Dehradun, bringing together the developers, students, and builders of the Doon valley for meetups, talks, and collaboration.
From the blog
A few recent pieces. The full archive lives on Substack.
Through the lens
Street, travel, and event photography, free to use and free to enjoy.
Where the work lives
This site is the hub; the work itself lives on the platforms that do it best.
Building something for developers? Let's talk.
